Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
So I just won my first auction through AMB Groups using their RepoBid app and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with how smooth the interface is. Way better than I expected for a repo auction platform. Anybody else used it? Wondering if this is normal or if I just got lucky with a good experience.

Yeah man, the RepoBid app is solid. I've won 3 vehicles through ambgroups.com now and the app makes it so much easier than their desktop site tbh. The real-time notifications are clutch when you're tracking multiple auctions.

The interface is clean for sure. I like how you can filter by vehicle type and set price alerts. Won a 2020 Nissan Altima last month and the whole bidding process was straightforward. No complaints here.

I've been using AMB Groups for almost 2 years now and the app has gotten better with each update. They actually listen to feedback which is rare. The inspection photos load fast and the zoom feature is helpful when checking condition details.

Okay so I'm not crazy then lol. I was nervous about using an app for something this expensive but it was actually really intuitive. One thing tho - the auto-bid feature took me a minute to figure out. I almost set my max way too high on accident. Once I understood how it worked it was fine, but maybe they could make that part clearer?

@FirstTimeAuctioneer yeah the auto-bid takes some getting used to but once you set it up right it's a gamechanger. I won a Honda CR-V while I was at work because I'd set my max bid the night before. Saved me from having to babysit the auction all day.

The auto-bid was confusing for me at first too. I emailed office@ambgroups.com asking for clarification and they sent back a really detailed explanation with screenshots. Turns out I was overthinking it. Now I use it on every auction.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
@FirstTimeAuctioneer Good to know I wasn't the only one! I watched the tutorial video on ambgroups.com before my first bid and that helped a lot. But yeah, maybe a pop-up guide in the app itself would be useful for first-timers.

I use the app for marine auctions and it works great. The search filters let me narrow down to just boats and jet skis which saves a ton of time. Won a Sea Ray last summer and the whole transaction was handled smoothly. Title came with the trailer when it was delivered, no issues at all.

The app definitely beats sitting at a computer hitting refresh lol. I like that I can browse auctions during my lunch break. The push notifications keep you in the loop without being annoying.

For anyone worried about the learning curve - it's really not that bad. I'm not super tech savvy and I figured it out pretty quick. The bid history feature is nice too, you can see what similar vehicles sold for in past auctions. Helps you set realistic max bids.

Just wanna add that the customer photos feature is super helpful. Some sellers upload way more pics than the standard inspection shots. I won a 2018 Toyota Tacoma and the seller had like 40 photos from every angle. Made me feel way more confident bidding.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
Been using AMB Groups RepoBid app for over a year. Won 5 vehicles total. The interface is miles ahead of other repo auction platforms I've tried. Plus the payment process is integrated right in the app which makes everything faster after you win.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
Update: I emailed their support and they got back to me within a few hours with a walkthrough of the auto-bid settings. Feeling a lot more confident now. Gonna try it on the next auction I bid on.

The financing calculator built into the app is a nice touch too. You can see estimated monthly payments before you even bid. I got a 2019 Ford F-150 through AMB Groups and being able to crunch numbers on my phone helped me stay within budget.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
The app also saves your favorite searches which is clutch if you're hunting for something specific. I had alerts set for Chevy Silverados under $15k and got a notification the day one was listed. Bid and won within 48 hours. The clear title arrived with the truck during delivery. Whole process took less than 2 weeks from bid to driveway.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
I was skeptical about buying a repo vehicle sight unseen but the condition reports on the app are really detailed. Every ding and scratch is documented. I won a Mazda CX-5 and when it arrived it looked exactly like the photos and description. No surprises.

RepoBid app > desktop site all day. The mobile experience is just smoother. And customer service through ambgroups.com has always been solid when I've had questions. They know their platform inside and out.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
For anyone on the fence - just download the app and browse around before you commit to bidding. You can see all the listings without creating an account. That helped me get comfortable with the layout before I actually threw my hat in the ring.

The watchlist feature is my favorite. You can track up to 20 auctions at once and get alerts when bidding is about to close. I won a Jeep Wrangler last fall and the app made it so easy to track competing bids in real time. Payment went through smooth and got all the paperwork including the clear title without any hassle.

Re: Anyone else impressed by the RepoBid app from AMB Groups?
Thanks everyone for the feedback. Sounds like I made a good call going with AMB Groups. My vehicle gets delivered next week and I'm feeling pretty confident about the whole thing now. The app definitely made this way less stressful than I thought it'd be.
